The RA government initiated awareness campaigns after launching the development of the OGP program
06.12.2021

The RA government initiated awareness campaigns after launching the development of the OGP program. The announcement was also shared on the official page of the government and other partners' websites and social pages.

In order to make the governance system more transparent and innovative, Armenia joined the Open Governance Partnership (OGP) initiative ten years ago. The OGP initiative enables citizens, non-governmental organizations and international organizations to submit proposals that will contribute to the improvement of the governance system.

Since 2011, Armenia has implemented four action plans in the group of Eastern Partnership countries. There are some changes in the fifth plan for 2021-2026, which was postponed because of the pandemic. A tool has been installed on the new OGP website, through which citizens and CSOs can easily present their proposals.

The monitoring of the OGP program and the recent survey shows that Armenia has made progress in terms of presenting programs aimed at solving problems. The following areas are included in the fifth OGP action plan: economy, public services, law and justice, public administration reforms. Proposals related to the mentioned areas are accepted on the ogp.gov website until December 15.

Zoom meeting with regional partners was held on December 7 and 10, during which proposals were filled out online. You can get the details of the meeting from the link.
